Evidence-based, compassionate care for women at every stage of life – from childhood through menopause.
We all seek the best and latest diagnostic methods and treatment options. It is very important to me to constantly update my medical knowledge and do my work according to the latest recommendations from the most reliable medical databases.
Many women feel anxious about visiting a gynecologist – because of their weight, body hair, sexual habits, life circumstances, or simply because it’s been a long time since their last visit. One of my main goals is to make sure no woman skips a gynecological exam for these reasons, potentially risking her health. My mission is to provide the best possible care for women in all life situations – regardless of age, body type, or sexual orientation.
When we visit a doctor – especially in private practice – we want to feel heard and understood. I believe in making decisions about tests and treatment plans together, taking each woman’s life situation into account. The right treatment is one the patient understands, feels ownership of, and in which her needs and concerns are respected – with her questions answered clearly and with care.
The examination can be complemented with a vaginal ultrasound and, upon request, any type of screening (STD testing, HPV testing, vaginal smear, or cervical cancer screening) to provide a comprehensive picture of your health. It is very important to me that the exam is as comfortable as possible for you, so I always explain what is happening, show you each step, and make sure you feel informed and at ease throughout the process.
Most expectant mothers wish to be guided through their pregnancy by a professional who knows their story – someone they don’t have to re-explain everything to at every visit, and who welcomes all their questions, even those they might consider “silly.” In my practice, I provide care and support from the beginning of pregnancy up to week 40. Unfortunately, I am not currently available for birth attendance.
I welcome girls from newborns to teenagers with any kind of concern – infections, labial adhesions, menstrual issues, or abdominal pain. It’s very important to me that the examination is a positive, comfortable experience for every girl – and of course, they always leave with a small gift! 🙂
During menopause, many women are treated for unexplained or psychologically labeled symptoms. Hormone replacement therapy is often misunderstood and surrounded by negative perceptions, so many women do not receive the care they need – even though menopausal symptoms can significantly affect their quality of life. Alternative treatment options are also rarely discussed. My goal is to help women experience this stage of life with understanding, comfort, and joy.
Many people are unsure which type of examination to choose when booking an appointment. If you are not booking a fertility consultation (which takes about twice as long as other visits), the specific option you select is not critical. We’ll discuss in person what examinations are needed, and payment will be based on that, not on your initial booking.
Prescription requests are processed within 2 business days, and you will receive an email notification once it’s ready. Emergency contraception and urgent prescriptions are issued within 4–6 hours between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
If you have a Hungarian social security number (TAJ), even if it’s inactive, I can issue prescriptions through the EESZT system. Without a TAJ number, I can issue a paper prescription, which is mailed with a postage fee. Prescriptions are sent as priority mail, so you’ll typically receive them within 3-4 days of your request.
Of course – unless public health restrictions are in place, a companion or child may be present during the examination.
No special preparation is needed. Many women feel more comfortable wearing a dress or a longer top, but we can also provide a disposable examination skirt if preferred. It’s recommended to visit the restroom right before the examination – our assistants will remind you of this as well.
Not at all. The presence or absence of body hair does not affect the examination.
In such cases, a vaginal examination is almost never performed. We usually use an abdominal ultrasound instead, which requires a full bladder – so please drink plenty of fluids before your visit and avoid urinating beforehand. If needed, the external genital area is examined, and samples are taken from there. A rectal exam is performed only in very rare cases.
